A Cape rain frog [Breviceps gibbosus] unimpressed with the quality of photographer Van Rensburg‘s shovel. These frogs push the limit of what we’d normally consider a frog, disinclined to jump and incapable of swimming. This specimen was found in Cape Town, South Africa.
Angry boy, disappointed in us and the state of it all. A father figure if I’ve ever seen one. 9.5/10
