Honestly, Oshiete Gyaruko-Chan (Please Tell Me Galko-Chan) is what tumblr claims anime/manga really needs
- Strong female cast with very varied body types
- Girls supporting each other
- Girls aren’t mocked for not being “perfect”
- The fattest girl in the cast is revered as one of the school’s best athletes and has zero shame about her weight
- Doesn’t focused on the girls trying to get boys
- Genuinely has a positive message

Galko-chan is a 100% pure anime tho. Plus it’s short. You can knock the whole series out in like 90 minutes. Would recommend a million times over.
