    Honestly, Oshiete Gyaruko-Chan (Please Tell Me Galko-Chan) is what tumblr claims anime/manga really needs

    • Strong female cast with very varied body types
    • Girls supporting each other
    • Girls aren’t mocked for not being “perfect”
    • The fattest girl in the cast is revered as one of the school’s best athletes and has zero shame about her weight
    • Doesn’t focused on the girls trying to get boys
    • Genuinely has a positive message

    Galko-chan is a 100% pure anime tho. Plus it’s short. You can knock the whole series out in like 90 minutes. Would recommend a million times over.

    Can confirm, Galko is a pure girl and the show is great.
