For those not in the know: Troll romance is made up of four different types of relationships, one of which is “kissmessitude” or “blackrom”

A kissmesis is essentially someone you have an intense rivalry with, coupled with a lot of romantic undertones. Think of it as romantic hatred. The idea is that both parties are locked in a heated exchange of banter, competition, one-upping, and mind-games, provided both halves are in equal standing. Sadly, many fans have mistakenly thought this means “abuse”.
