Think I’ve decided my favorite color is indigo.

I’ve always liked blue, but usually warm red-tinted blues (I can’t keep track of whether purplish-blues are “warmer” or “cooler” than greenish-blues) and of course I love red too. Purple is lovely but I’m not totally sure if I like the color on its own (it’s hit-or-miss with either being breathtaking or hideous or just ‘meh’).

But I’ve always loved ultramarine and cobalt blue. Sometimes something veering slightly more towards purple but generally the colors you see from blue glass bottles have always just struck me as the most dazzlingly intense and lovely colors.

So from now on I’m just gonna say indigo is my go-to favorite color because that seems to come the closest to the colors I like best.
