Nobody gives enough Credit for how awesome this scene is.

I loved BOTH movies. I don’t know why every single movie has to be some well written cerebral performance. Some times people just wanna turn their brain off and giggle.

Ghost Rider was the perfect example of people not getting it.

It was a big-budget b-movie based on a comic that’s basically a b-movie in book form and best enjoyed as a fun popcorn movie with a solid good vs evil plot about making an ass out of the devil himself.

All wrapped up in the trappings of a modern day horror-western complete with hard rock cover of Riders and the Sky.

It’s not meant to be art like The X-Men movies or the MCU is now.

What the fuck are you talking about the Ghost Rider movies ARE art, and did a better job 9f being b-movie than all the Grindhouse movies, and I love those things.

#yes all the things mentioned#b-movies are fun and contain more art than Citizen -actually the disparaging definition of a classic- Kane#fite me film nerds

    It’s true in a way.

If you classify art as a creative endeavor with heart an soul put into it, then b-movies are literally art because it’s a bunch of nerds throwing the rules out the window and having a blast telling the story they want to tell.

In that way b-movies can often be more art that actual art films.

The Ghost Rider films are masterpieces. Thank you Nicolas Cage.

The first Ghost Rider movie was also almost entirely accurate to the character’s origins in the comics.
