So, in World of Warcraft, each faction has their own language.  When you hear someone speak on another language, it’s put through a cypher.  Hordies who say LOL will be heard as KEK by the Alliance.

This decision was made because Starcraft got really popular in Korea.  The Korean onomatopoeia for laughter is kekeke.

I say I have to because it’s actually politically relevant.  In Hillary’s Clinton’s crusade against the cartoon frog, Pepe, it has become associated with the ancient god of Darkness in Egyptian paganism.

It just means laughter.
