She still also has the capacity for bloodlust. Now, present-day provides her with safe and healthy outlets for her spirit of competition and hunger for ideological dominance. You simply dislike these situations, and the resulting facet of Artoria you see, because it is “boring” and have no true respect for this wonderful, realistic character that reflects how real-life people can be very different when placed in high stress situations or into peaceful ones with proper support systems.
